The Little Phatty
Analog Synthesizer- Stage Edition II
MinimoogLittle Phatty™ Analog Synthesizer- Stage Edition II

Moog Music is proud to introduce the Little Phatty Stage II; the newest member of the Little Phatty family. Like the Stage and Tribute Edition before it, the Little Phatty Stage II puts the performer in control of a 100% analog signal path, two ultra stable Voltage Controlled Oscillators, a Voltage Controlled Filter and other versatile features like an external audio input, CV and KB gate inputs and a full MIDI controller.

Additionally, the Stage II boasts great new features including:
• MIDI over USB
• MIDI Clock Sync
• an Arpeggiator
• Tap Tempo
• Stylish New Black Finish

The addition of MIDI over USB makes this performance and sound sculpting tool even more powerful. Combined with its warm analog sound, ability to process external audio and its intuitive performance, sound design and control features, the Stage II makes a great addition to any rig... from full-on analog, to a laptop/softsynth setup. You can also connect it directly to a computer running the Little Phatty Editor/Librarian.

MIDI Clock Sync allows you to synchronize the LFO and arpeggiator rate to the tempo of your MIDI sequencer, drum machine or software. Sample and hold, triangle, square, sawtooth and ramp wave modulations can now be perfectly timed with your rhythm tracks and the arpeggiator.

The arpeggiator is a great new performance feature with applications for musicians in all genres. Its wide variety of uses is sure to find a place in any style, and of course it also syncs to MIDI clock. Tap Tempo brings LFO and arpeggiator tempo sync functionality to situations in which there is no MIDI clock.

The distinctive new black finish is a real eye-catcher that emphasizes the unique new nature of the Little Phatty Stage II.

The new features in the Little Phatty Stage II bring true analog synthesis to contemporary performance and production says Cyril Lance, Moog Music Senior Engineer. USB, MIDI Clock Sync, Tap Tempo and the Arpegiator make it a modern music powerhouse.

The RME
The New Moog Rack Mount Edition

Yes, that's right! Moog has taken all the mind-bending power of the Minimoog Voyager and packaged it in a 19" wide by 5U (8 3/4") high package. Technical specs will be available shortly but here are some details.

The package contains all the features of the Voyager plus switchable audio out (-2dBm unbalanced or +4dBm balanced 600 Ohms). It also includes the Electric Blue back lit panel that was introduced with the Anniversary Edition Voyager.

What you don't get is the keyboard or the Voyager's touch surface. Match the RME (or upt to 15 of them!) up with your existing Voyager to achieve some serious polyphony. Or simply purchase a MIDI keyboard to control the RME.

Orders placed today should be shipped in April. We also need to make you aware that thanks to the overwhelming interest that Moog is experiencing on all their products means that Moog will have to find some additional manufacturing space. This means supplies of the RME will be limited until that occurs which we anticipate resolving some time this Summer.

If you anticipate needing one, I highly suggest that you get one on order and reserve your place in line

Stay tuned for additional details.
The MuRF is Shipping!
The Mother of all Moogerfoogers
Moog Music is now shipping the moogerfooger MF-105 MuRF
Moog Music is now shipping the moogerfooger MF-105 MuRF. The MuRF is a fantastic new effect from the mind of Bob Moog. MuRF stands for Multiple Resonance Filter Array - an 8-band bank of tuned, resonant filters that impart a very nice, warm sound to signals passed through them. The levels of the filters can be changed in rhythmic patterns by the ANIMATION module, a 24-pattern sequencer that triggers 8 volume envelopes, one for each filter. The shapes of the envelopes can be drastically altered by the ENVELOPE control, and the tempo of the patterns can be set by the RATE control, or tapping three times in the desired tempo on an optional Moog FS-1 footswitch plugged into the TAP/STEP input. MuRF's effects can be bouncy techno-sounding filter arpeggiations, or smooth, slowly changing timbres that swirl around your head (or anything in between). Without ANIMATION, the MuRF's filters can be used as a fixed filter bank to completely transform the tone of your instrument.

Check out the new sound files that have been uploaded to the MuRF's product page. They illustrate a few of the MuRF's possibilities. Note the stereo action that happens when both outputs are used.

As with all moogerfoogers, the MuRF can be used with any instrument that you can "plug in". It comes with its own power supply and user's manual. Be the first on your block to own the latest effect from the folks at Moog Music. It is sure to blow your mind.
About the MuRF MF-105
How many times have you wondered, "Why aren't there any new effects?.

Whether you play guitar, bass, keyboard, make beats, or work in the studio - most effects boxes are based on the same old classics. The Moogerfooger MF-105 MuRF is the antidote to generic, boring effects.

MuRF stands for "Multiple Resonance Filter Array". What this means is the MuRF has 8 filters - their levels are controlled by 8 sliders. It looks like a graphic eq, but the sound of the filters are very different: warm and resonant.

What is really unique is the ability to animate the levels of the 8 filters in up to 24 preset patterns. The rate of the patterns can be set by a knob, expression pedal, or plug a footswitch into the tap tempo input to match the rate to the tempo of your song. Rhythmic variations can be created by adjusting the levels of the filters. The Envelope control sets the shape of the modulation, which can be set for percolating techno rhythmic modulation or shimmering timbral morphing. Other controls include Input Drive, Output Level and Wet/Dry Mix.

MuRF shares the musician-oriented features that are common to all Moogerfoogers. All the audio processing is 100% genuine analog, for warm, fat sound quality. Any line level or instrument level audio signal may be processed. Wide-ranging player parameters may be controlled from the panel knobs as well as from expression pedals or CV-compatible analog synthesis instruments. Components are rugged and long lasting, to withstand the rigors of stage and studio. The MuRF is housed in the classic Moogerfooger "double-wedge" enclosure that may be used on a table or on the floor.

The MuRF is now shipping!!! For all players, the MuRF will open up new sonic worlds for you!
