MXL Microphones, the professional audio division of Marshall Electronics, will display their new Drum Cube microphone at this year’s Winter NAMM show. Known for making well-engineered and affordable condenser microphones, the MXL Drum Cube caters to musicians who want a high quality, reasonably-priced tool for recording drums and percussion.

“We’re really excited about the sound quality and price point of this mic,” notes Jim Mona, MXL’s National Sales Manager. “We tested the Drum Cube on a lot of drummers and every one of them said the Drum Cube is absolutely killer, especially on toms.”

According to MXL, the unconventional-looking Cube condenser mic offers big, full-bodied sound that’s powerfully detailed. Designed with a gold sputtered, 6-micron diaphragm, it delivers professional sound, while a high SPL rating delivers on loud drums.

The MXL Cube is built tough with durable metal construction and includes a hard mount mic stand adapter. The MXL Cube is now shipping with an MSRP $149.95.
