MXL Microphones, the professional audio division of Marshall Electronics, will unveil their new Mic Mate USB Mini Mixer Kit at this year’s Winter NAMM Show. The latest product innovation from MXL, the Mic Mate™ USB Mini Mixer Kit is a portable solution for recording, monitoring and mixing directly to a laptop or desktop computer.

“The Mic Mate Mini Mixer Kit is like having a portable studio with you wherever you go,” says Jim Mona, MXL’s National Sales Manager. “Just like our line of Mic Mate XLR-to-USB adaptors, the Mic Mate USB Mini Mixer offers a simple solution and solves the problem of recording multiple sources directly into a computer.”

In addition to recording vocals and instruments, the Mic Mate USB Mini Mixer is ideal for group rehearsals, video voiceovers, podcasting and group interviews. Compatible with today’s popular recording software, the palm-sized USB-powered mixer allows up to four dynamic microphones to be recorded directly into a desktop or laptop computer. Advanced features include four low-noise balanced dynamic mic preamps with independent gain controls, a four-segment LED level meter, as well as a headphone output for extremely precise recording, listening and mixing.

PC and Mac compatible, the all-in-one Mic Mate USB Mini Mixer Kit includes the Mini Mixer, an MXL dynamic microphone, tripod desktop mic stand, and all the necessary cables to start recording and mixing.
